The Lost Battalion
The Lost Battalion is a 2001 made-for-television film about a group of U.S. soldiers during WWI that was cut off and surrounded by German forces in the Argonne Forest (located in Northeastern France) in 1918. It is about 1 hour and 30 . We may watch this movie during class if time permits.
The Century - Shell Shock
I intend to show this video during class at some point over the course of the WWI chapter. It is accompanied by questions that you will have to answer on a separate sheet of paper (no complete sentences... 1 or 2 word answers are fine). If you were absent in class, a copy of the questions can be found by clicking here.
